Breede River (One or 1½ day trips)

The Breede River is just outside Worcester and only 1 hour’s drive from Cape Town. A relaxed, tranquil and peaceful river with a couple of small rapids, rich bird life and scenic splendour are what await you. Ideal for family, social, corporate and school groups.

Breede River at Worcester Section - (only 1 hours drive from Cape Town)

A minimum of 8 adults per booking

Fully Catered with wine tasting

ITINERARY:

Meeting time is 09h00 at Nekkies

Coffee/tea and rusks are served while the equipment is prepared

A safety briefing is given by the guides

Each client is issued with a boat (2 persons per boat), paddle and lifejacket

Dry-bags are available for personal belongings

Stop half way for snacks and cold drinks

At lunch time we stop for a buffet lunch + wine, or a snack box + cold drinks

At the end transport will shuttle the group back to Nekkies

Arrival back at Nekkies is between 16h00-18h00

ITINERARY:

Day 1

Arrival at our base camp in Namibia

Day 2

Breakfast, packing and a safety briefing

Each client is issued with a boat (2 persons per boat), paddle and lifejacket

Dry-bags/barrels are supplied for personal belongings, clothes, etc.

Day 2-5

During the next 4 days breakfast, lunch and dinner are served

Camp is set up each night on the banks of the Orange River

At the end a truck will be waiting to transport us back to base camp

Day 6

Departure back to Cape Town after breakfast
