All rooms are en suite: five double bedrooms and a family room with two king-size double beds and lots of space. The style throughout is clean and modern: solid maple bed-frames, teak floors, white pure cotton, sandy tones, and bright splashes of a nascent local art collection on the walls. Each room has its own door out to the patios, palms and 10m x 5m pool. The Tree Suite, in a separate timber house, is high above the ground, between huge palms, with unspoiled views over the city and harbour. Lézard Bleu is well known for bountiful breakfasts, which may be enjoyed under umbrellas on the terrace, or at a big table, half inside, half out where a huge sliding door opens onto the sunny deck.
Only a five-minute drive to the most beautiful beaches, 10-minute walk into the city, and two minutes to the Table Mountain Nature Reserve. Available: airport transfers and driving service, room and laundry service, assistance with planning excursions and city tours, car hire. Library, CD collection and Internet access in the lounge. Hans-Christoph Neumann is a trained chef, and what a chef he is! "The food was excellent, this was confirmed by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany." This was the written verdict of Dr. Wagner, President of the Hessian Parliament in 1980. Nikola Kress-Neumann completed her drama studies and joined the theatre. He travelled the five continents and sailed the seven seas. She made a career on the stage and was captured on film in a number of roles. He fell in love with the Cape and dreamt of settling there. She spent years dreaming of a little hotel somewhere.
The two great minds have united, the outcome being: A house at the Cape, where Chris and Niki offer accommodation for those who enjoy being spoilt.
Divided into two wings. Guest rooms on one side, on the other: dining area, reading room with bar and fireplace, the lounge leading out onto a spacious patio. 5 double rooms en-suite, telephone, refrigerator and T.V. All rooms have a private patio with direct access to the garden and pool.
